People Help People
Social #Corona Initiative in Switzerland. Join to contribute.
For times like the present, it is impossible to prepare in advance. Therefore, immediate support measures in society and for society become vital. https://support.inzuri.ch/ connects those who need help with those willing to provide it. Here is how you can help too.
As everyone probably already knows, the best way to help contain the coronavirus is to #stayathome and follow hygiene rules. However, if you want to do more, this Support Group offers the following options:
To do this, you can either go directly to https://support.inzuri.ch/ and apply via their online form (need help, want to help or want to support), or join their fast growing Facebook community.
The support group in Zurich was launched last weekend and has attracted hundreds of volunteers within a few days. Since then, the initiative has already expanded to 2 more cities – Bern and Lucerne (https://support.inbern.ch/ and https://support.inluzern.ch/). In addition to organizing the help, the website creators collect and share official information to prevent the spread of fake news.
Behind the scenes: creator of the initiative
Sorin-Alexandru Radu owns an ethically driven marketing agency Digital Win and a network of 40 Facebook groups created for Zurich expats.
The largest of these, groups like Worldwide People in Zurich or English-speaking jobs in Zurich, connect around 25,000 members.
Sorin-Alexandru already has experience in establishing a support community during the unfortunate events in Romania in 2015, when a fire in a nightclub caused dozens of deaths and hundreds of injuries. At that time, Sorin-Alexandru’s platform connected about 300 volunteers with people and institutions in need.
All these experiences and backgrounds enabled him to rapidly develop and launch the platform in Switzerland, and today he is working on expanding the opportunities offered.
If you want to help, make sure to join Coronavirus support group, apply via the platform for your city (Zurich, Bern, Lucerne) or share this information in your social media. Any support is highly appreciated.
If you wish to replicate this project in your city, please contact Sorin-Alexandru Radu directly via LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sorinalexandruradu/
Stay fit, stay healthy and of course #stayhome as much as possible.
